Like many people, Elaine Peddycord did not begin her career doing what she does today. Elaine started her career journey as a CPA working for McGladrey and Pullen (now RSM). She later joined a Fortune 500 company where, due to wonderful mentorship, her career within finance and accounting grew. While there, she managed large teams and projects, as well as hired talented individuals. She learned how important every hire was and how teams were impacted by the unique skills brought by every individual. She decided to take her love of helping others, and her knowledge of finance and accounting, into the recruiting world in 2000 when she began her own recruitment agency. Since that time, Elaine and her husband, David, continue to expand their recruiting business with Banyan Search as they make strong relationships the foundation to all their recruiting efforts. Elaine continues to define her success as helping others to achieve their success.
Elaine has served on the Board of Trustees for Home Moravian Church, is part of the Reagan High School PTSA where she served as Audit Chair, and is an active "lacrosse mom". She also donates time to various groups and educational institutions where she shares advice on interviewing and job search strategies.
Elaine graduated from Lenior-Rhyne University (Go Bears!) and is a CPA in the State of NC. She and and her husband, David, have two wonderful sons with whom they enjoy traveling and attending sporting events as a family. She would like to have hobbies, but attends sporting events instead.
