David Peddycord began his career in public accounting, eventually becoming a Senior Manager with McGladrey and Pullen (now RSM). He subsequently held senior level finance positions in the corporate world before deciding to take his career on a different path - recruiting. David utilizes his business foundation and leadership abilities learned from the years in public accounting and corporate finance to develop an understanding of how to match client needs with candidate talents. Working with his business partners, David is committed to developing Banyan Search as a company that focuses on the relationship vs. the transaction, and gaining the trust of the individuals we assist to know that we will act with the utmost integrity in all situations.
David has served on the Board of Miracles in Sight (formerly The North Carolina Eye Bank), as well as the Board of Elders for Home Moravian Church. He currently serves as the Treasurer for the Men of the Church at Home Moravian Church and is an active Club Leader for the Triad Alumni Chapter of the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
David is a native North Carolinian and proud alumnus of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He and his wife, Elaine, are active with their two sons and enjoy spending time together as a family. Golf and traveling are two of David’s favorite activities. David does have a hobby, and that is attending sporting events.
